Account and data deletion

The primary and fastest way to delete your SyncUs account is directly inside the application. You do not need to contact support if you can sign in.
Delete account in the app
- Sign in to SyncUs.
- Open Settings.
- Under Account, select Delete account.
- Review the warning and confirm deletion after the security countdown.
Deleting an account signs it out and revokes its active authentication sessions.
Shared space rules
- If you are the only owner and member: deleting your account also permanently deletes the space and its lists, wishes, bills, plans, history and custom products.
- If you own a space with another member: you must first transfer ownership to that member or remove them. SyncUs blocks account deletion until this is resolved to prevent accidental loss of shared data.
- If you are a member rather than the owner: your account and membership are removed and you lose access. Shared space data remains available to its owner, including content that forms part of the shared records.
Request deletion by email
If you cannot sign in, request deletion by emailing support@mpty.ee.
Please include:
- The email address used for your SyncUs account.
- A short statement that you want your SyncUs account and associated app data deleted.
We may ask you to verify ownership of the account. Do not send your password, purchase token or other secret credentials by email.
What is deleted
Depending on your role and the shared space rules above, deletion removes or disables your account profile, authentication sessions and space membership. When deletion also removes an owned space, its shopping lists, wishes and images, bills, plans, history and custom products are deleted.
What may be retained
Shared records belonging to a space that continues to exist remain available to its owner. Limited information may also remain temporarily in backups, operational logs or subscription/accounting records when required for security, fraud prevention, recovery, legal compliance or dispute resolution. Retained information is limited to the purpose that requires it.
Response time
In-app deletion is processed immediately, subject to the shared space rules above. Email requests are normally reviewed within 30 days after account ownership is verified.
